This sculptual/performative work took place in Cologne, Germany and dealt with the re-telling and re-enactment of 15th century naval battles between the Ottoman Empire and the Knights Hospitaliers. I utilized the Canadian pastime game of road hockey to act as the vehicle for the pitched battled. Each team member was assigned a specific historical figure from either Ottoman Empire Jersey or Knights Hospitaliers. Each team had their own banners, jerseys and equipment.
